My first serious attempts of painting started in 2012 with a set of acrylics and a few small canvases. The possibility to layer and correct so easily has helped me to gain more ease and confidence with painting in general. The endless combination of colours has captured my attention. An esthetic research began by studying the works of Klimt, Picasso, van Gogh, Monet, Manet and Vettriano. Visiting Ravenna and seeing the mosaics that inspired Klimt to use gold in his works has been very inspiring to me. Landscapes and people  are some of my favorite motives.
